CelineRANDSPeacefully in the presence of family and friends, Celine Rands (nee Snowden) passed away on 16th September at Scunthorpe General Hospital aged 87.

Devoted wife to Richard (Dick). Loving mum to Richard and Louise. Cherished grandma to Richard Alexander, Hayley Celine and James, and held dearly by wider family members.

A lively and engaging friend and colleague to many over the years while resident in Scunthorpe, Bottesford, Messingham and Scawby. Exemplifying fortitude, determination and cheekiness, Celine's love, loyalty and spirit will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a service at St. Laurence's Church Scunthorpe at 12:15 on Friday 10th October, and afterwards at Forest Pines Hotel, Broughton, Brigg.

Donations in lieu of flowers would be gratefully accepted for 'Macmillan Cancer Support' and 'Lindsey Lodge Hospice' c/o

It has been a delight to have known Celine over many years, always so positive friendly lovely sense of humour and such a smart lady, I admired her determination to make the most of life’s opportunities.
Her admiration and love for her family was lovely to witness.

I remember when Celine was secretary at Hibaldstow Primary School. What an amazing lady, will be missed by some many. RIP ❤️
